Tony (Anthony) Steuer, CLU, LA (born 1964) is an American author, essayist, speaker, and advocate in the fields of financial education, personal finance, and life insurance. ==Background==
Steuer was born on March 8, 1964 in San Francisco, California. He was raised in San Francisco and later moved to Marin County where he attended Redwood High School. He attended California State University Chico and was an intern for a free legal information service on campus, C.L.I.C. (Community Legal Information Center).〔() Community Legal Information Center〕 He graduated in 1986 with a Bachelor of Science in Finance. He has volunteered as a white water rafting guide and as a Wilderness First Responder Instructor. Prior to commencing his own practice in 1995, Tony was an Assistant Vice President with Acordia-Lloyd, a multi-line insurance brokerage firm. Steuer was also recently the Director of Financial Preparedness for United Policyholders for Life, Disability, Long Term and Annuities.
